  • Correct TPS...

So I pulled a sweep on my TPS, right around full throttle (4.25v), I get a dead spot. Sensor goes wide open. I ordered one from Rock auto and it arrived today. The plug connector and wire colors are legit. The problem is, IT ROTATES THE WRONG WAY! Rock said it was the right one, it ain't.

I did a bit more digging and found one on Amazon that looks like an exact match but says it's not compatible?!?!?

The first 3 pics are the Rockauto TPS that says it's compatible, part #ECC 1301. It's not.

The next 2 are Amazon, and it looks just like the TPS that's on the car, part is a Walker 200-91018, Amazon says compatibility "no go" with the SVO...

What gives... Anyone have the correct part number for this TPS?

This works on my 86 SVO

    Stinger Performance

    Item Name: Sensor | Ford | TPS | 2.3 | Throttle Position Sensor | Adjustable | 85-89
    Item# TPS-Late

Ford Throttle Position Sensor for many mid to late 80's applications with the small 3-pin round TPS connector. Look carefully at connector type and bolt pattern to verify fitment. Brand and part number will vary due to limited availability but fitment wil

So it looks like the Walker might be the correct sensor after all? I'll update when it arrives...
