2026 Reunion Details - Official Announcement!!

We have been working on plans for the 2026 SVOCA Reunion and we are going to Louisville, KY! We are partnering up with the Derby City Mustang Club and their yearly Pony Trail and FordFest show October 9-10, 2026. On top of that, the Kentucky Region SCCA has an auto-x event on October 11^th up in Salem, IN (~50 miles north of the hotel)!

Show registration is $20.00 before October 1^st, the Friday Pony Trail is included free, but you need to register for the show to participate. The Pony Trail is a cruise from Bill Collins Ford through the back roads of Kentucky to a lunch spot yet to be determined by Derby City.

We have secured 10 rooms at Baymont by Wyndham Louisville Airport South. The hotel has a nice size parking lot and is ~6 miles of the show grounds at Bill Collins Ford. **You can thank fellow member Dave Schmitt for finding and setting up SVO Central block of rooms!!

Rates are $95/night for a 2 Queen room or $85/night for a single King room, the block has 5 rooms of each type and the block will be released on 9/20. Call 502-968-4100 to make the reservation, mention “SVOCA” and “October 8th” to get the block rate. You can adjust the specific dates of your arrival/departure as needed. If you have any issues with the booking, let us know and we will get things straightened out.

I am working with the KYSCCA to determine what class we will be put into for our yearly bragging right shootout. As we get more detailed info, we will post up here. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Louisville!!

Where do you register for the show? Thru SVOCA or Derby MC. Already a 60 year member of SCCA. Usualliy at National events you can go as a guest of a member.Not as participant.

I just talked with Ted; you will need to register with the Derby City Mustang Club, the link is below. I've also attached the form directly to this message. On the DCMC registration form under "Club Affiliation", make sure you put SVO Club of America.

For the auto-x on Sunday, here are the general details:

• It is being held by the Kentucky Region SCCA group at Salem Motorsports Park in Salem, Indiana (~1 hour NW of the SVO Central hotel).
• You can register online via the KYSCCA website that uses MotorsportReg --> https://kyscca.com/events/2026-pe10/ or you can also walk up and register at the event.
  • I would suggest registering for the event online.
• Event schedule and requirements are listed on the KYSCCA site linked above.
• We (SVO's) should register under the CAM-T (Classic American Muscle Traditional) class per my discussions with the KYSCCA steward.
• If you are SCCA member, cost is $55. If you are not an SCCA member then you will have to also purchase a weekend membership that bumps your entry to $80. *The SCCA has always required a membership for insurance purposes under their sanctioned events.
• You can have a passenger ride along with you. If your passenger is not participating in the event (i.e.- just spectating), they will have to sign an event waiver and sign up for a FREE trial SCCA membership. Again, this is for SCCA insurance purposes.
