Hi, I'm looking for some advice after getting scammed by a shop. My 86 SVO has an upgraded alternator done by previous owner, however, the breaker keeps blowing, I poked around the engine bay and found the voltage regulator wasn't plugged in, but now my alternator light on the dash comes on and stays on, even if I take the keys out of the ignition.
What I want to know is how do I figure out why the breaker was blowing, if I I need the voltage regulator plugged in (I assume I do) and finding out why my alternator light is on and stays on, and is the solution a 1 wire alternator
Thanks for any advice, I really appreciate it
