    Starter selenoid wiring

    Hi:

Looking for some help with hooking the wires back up to my starter selenoid on my 86 SVO. Stupid me for not snapping a picture before I disconnected the wires some time back and now can't remember which terminals the wires hook up to, excluding the positive battery cable and the cable to the starter. Anyone have a picture or a schematic I can reference? Not finding exactly what I need on the web.

    Thanks

Luckily, it is pretty simple. Only the starter cable goes on the rear solenoid stud, all the other large eyelet wires go on the forward stud and the push-on wire goes onto the small top stud. Here is a pic of my setup, which has an upgraded alternator wire/fuse setup on it, which is why I have a stack of washers spacing the wires apart. I can scan in the appropriate EVTM page/schematic if you need additional details.

Thanks for the photos. The selenoid is now wired correctly!
