Undecided. I've requested some advice from Maximum Motorsports on what they run. I'd like to get some 10 inchers under there but it depends on how much I can flare the fenders. Pat in LA found something on how to flare the fenders with some minor cutting and filling.

I like the 2nd choice up there, but isn't that a bit much of bling for you?

My vote is for the 5 spoke design if the fit and weight are right.

I think the 5 spoke are more of a classic look for the mustang

As long as the wheels are strong enough. After a few years of street driving on Weld Pro-Stars I realized that they should be a strip only wheel. Glad I never used them on a roadcourse type track.

These wheels are supposed to be racing wheels. I checked out their web site and it looks like they are geared towards the racing crowd. They are pretty pricey.

I like the 5 spoke ones, but it seems like they are getting a little over-done lately.. if the weights are close I say be different & get the second ones that you posted.. They have a different look, & I like to be different!!

I was looking into these wheels instead of Kodiaks:

Fikse wheels are on the FRPP FR500C Mustang

Racing in a straight line only. They do flex quite a bit in the turns. Enough to crack the spokes just after the inner hub reinforcments on mine. I had them for almost 7 years, two cars and almost 30k miles so they were certainly out of warranty. I still have one of them in the garage if you'd like pics of the cracks. When I get back from Iraq that is.

I like the 2nd choice as 'everyone' has a set of 5 spokes out there. Dare to be different. Prices are not cheap, but not ridiculous though for a forged 3 piece wheel.

I have been looking at the Motegi Trak-Lite 2's, since for the 17x8 are only 14.5 lbs each. That has to be lighter than my current 94 Cobra wheels.
