  • Things to get done before the reunion

I was shocked to not see this thread started yet.
    here is mine.
Help SVOEric get his cars ready I owe him big time he always comes over and bails me out on mine. so it is time for payback.

Ol blue: wash, detail and play with the tune to see if I can get some low end grunt outta her.

86 red: install seats, fuzzy dash pannels, shift boot, blead brakes and get front end aligned.

Killar: WOW! there is not enough time to finish what I had planned. Finish brake rebuild, Battery clean out inside and install interior, hang the bumper covers, Battery, Down pipe and exhaust, install front sway bar, rag joint, put dash in, wind shield, 1/4 and trunk lid glass. road test (has not been driven in the 5 years I've owned it)

OH yea run to Tenn to pick up a car for Mitch

    You can't even fathom!
Why finish it before the reunion when you can do it at the reunion?

What the hell am I doing in Orlando?

New tires, have'em, ready to be put on. (Maybe Tues.) Put some miles on them. Maybe touch up the rear bumper trim. Get Ken H's lazy azz to register... Oh and give the RED SLUG a bath. Blow off the engine compartment. That should do it.

Hopefully get my fuel pressure problem fixed, and maybe my tune smoothed out. Is anyone familiar with Megasquirt?

no, but i know if you have a fuel pressure problem, its gonna be pretty hard to get a good tune

You melt the entire wire or just the insulation?

Seriously though, where are the pics?

About 1 inch away from the crimped connector clean through the wire. I have a nice puddle of plastic next to the dizzy. I will dig the wire out of the trash and take a pic. no arc marks I can see on any other wires or metal nearby. So I replaced the alt the sending unit and the wire and all is ok. I cant figure ut what happened but atleast there was no CarBQ.
