Got it running good, and decided to swap out the poly tranny mount for a stock replacement. Whoops. Don't have any nuts that fit it. Will pick some up tomorrow. Also got some LED bulbs for the tail/stop lights. We'll see if they brighten things up.
Was going to get some dynamat for the headligner also. Need to tweak the exhaust some. It's rubbing the floorpan. Fortunately, these are minor things.
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

Number 5 sucks. I'm moving on to number 7. I have been working on this car's body for three weeks straight weekends and all. I’m getting tired. It sometimes turns over sometimes not. I had to wench it up on the trailer. That sucked! The battery runs down pretty darn fast too. There is a short somewhere. Not having a stock 84 SVO, I'm not all up on what wire is what under the dash. It's a rat nest. You'll see what I mean in a few days. At this point I figure the more eyes on it the better it is to figure all the issues out.

It's sad. But I'm really just getting tired of playing with it for now. I’m burnt! But I'm going to bring it anyway for show in tell at very least. I hope we can get all the issues figured out for Saturday and Sunday. Fingers crossed.

henson, check your PM's; im on your route (i think), and have a bit of experience dealing with wire spaghetti

ps: adding 'clean up wire mess' and 'wipe off the dirty dash' to my list of things to do tonight.

pps: teach me to go out and shoot f/4, really need to crank it down to at least f/12 with flash when shooting insides of cars.. no where near enough DoF. :/ (or i just suck with the focusing)

                        • Got my cone swapped back to the k&n in the stock housing. Got headliner and visors back in. Wow! I forgot what it was like having a dome light!
Rain-X'd the windows, packed tools and spare parts, and car's ready to go.
Now if I can get my wife out of bed and out the door by 7am, we'll be good to go!
Won't happen though. She'll try on ten pairs of pants, and ten shirts before deciding what to wear, while I sit and give her "the look". LOL
