me too.
you can't run the SVO konis int he front- the bottom of the strut is too long. and you will need a different lower front control arm. I'm running an '87-'88 tbird turbo coupe lower with a bunch of washers so the nut will tighten on the ball joint.
the 13 inch rotors are awesome. you will need 17 inch wheels, I'm running the '94-'95 GT style (and they look very good).
for springs, I'm running the Griggs coil-overs, and using MM CC plates.
note- if running coil overs, you will need a strut tower brace to help take the stress on the strut towers.'86 SVO (9L) SCCA autox car, "Sneezy"

yes, they bolt to the k-member fine. you just can't go the other way (SVO A-Arms in non-SVO k-member)'86 SVO (9L) SCCA autox car, "Sneezy"

No other modifications are needed to bolt on SN95 arms onto a SVO front crossmember. The SN95 arms are very close in length to the SVO arms, and the SVO front sway bar will bolt on fine to the SN95 arms too.
You want to use SN95 arms with SN95 spindle because of the ball joint problem; the SVO ball joints are bigger than SN95 ones, necessitating the need for an SN95 arm/ball joint with the SN95 spindle...Some will ream out the SN95 spindle to fit the SVO ball joint, but I think this is the wrong way to do it, IMO, as there doesn't seem to be much metal around the SN95 spindle's ball joint hole to be safe.
The measurements for the Fox body crossmembers is in Mustang Performance 2 by William Mathis. A search on this webpage will get the rest of the information.

Ball joints are replaceable with SN95 arms. For even better front suspension geometry, go to Steeda ball joints or Ford Racing M-3050-S.
There are no disadvantages to going with SN95 spindles, only advantages.

If one did not want bigger brakes, bigger wheels and replaceable ball joints, why change the stock SVO suspension then?

Whu? Only real benefits? What else were you expecting? Dinner and movie? Tell ya what .. go check on the price of a NOS set of SVO LCAs ... WHEN you can find them - $600-$800. Now go see what kind of increased stopping power you can upgrade to for under $1000 and still retain stock sized wheels. Now price out the cost of some used/low mileage 94-95 takeoff LCAs, spindles, and Cobra/Bullitt brakes... AND the ability to find replacement parts when routine service is needed.Originally posted by kennycoulter
is the only real benefit: bigger brakes, bigger wheels, and replaceable ball joints?
If you drive/autox/open track your car ... and aren't concerned about maintaining a 100 point show car, but need/want to repair/upgrade your suspension/brakes ... THIS is the way to go.
