I just want to say great job!
For me this was the best reunion ever.(2nd one i actually made it to) the drag racing sucked (But drag racing sucks anyway) had a great time at the dyno day the car show I found some much needed parts. The Auto cross was the best (my first one)It took me till the 11th run to get it figured out (sway bar end links make the car turn better) lol
    SVOCA Pulled it off again!
    Keep up the great work!

    I Agree

Had a great Time, now i know what those shims are for in that tranny kit I had... lol j/k..... Great Tech-how-too in the hotel by Mike Flemming..... thanks Eric for putting another Fun-filled weekend together...just order up the weather we had last year instead of this years.. for the next one ..... helped in the rebuild of the gas tank in the parking lot... it seems as though it should be a requirement for someone to need something done in the parking lot so the Club members can show thier true colors.....still have not located the Bonami stuff (windsheald cleaner/restorer) that some club members told me about.. went to Kroger and the manager said "Yeah I know what that is and we stopped carrying it".... oh well... ran with Rick (the deer hunter) Singer on the way back home and Indiana Dave (jeeped it)....Rick and I lost dave somehwere in KY.....was fun except the 12 mile stoppage on the interstate going into CIncy.. im sure quite a few people from the show got caught up in that........can't wait for NEXT year already............. THANKS to ALL the club members who put this years show on !!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't make great time on the way home but I loved every part of this weekend,
From the dyno to the autocross, very good job men.
Very happy with the parts I got from Gator, and other venders there. Got some parts on the way home.

Just got to wait till next year now.
Time to clean up the engine bay!

Amen to that Rob. Thanks again for the washer to fix mine with. At least THAT didn't give me any probs on the way home.
That's one of the great things about the reunion, whenever something goes bad there's always 4 or 5 people there to give you a hand to get it fixed.
            Awsome weekend for sure...

              My Top Ten

We had an incredible weekend in Richmond Kentucky. I am sorry…… your rolling hills and scenic drive is beyond description. I had a GREAT time and my hat is off to the directors.
My Top Ten (I mean 11) List from this past weekend:
              1. The walkie-talkie radios for the ride out. Thanks Jason, they made the 12 hour run fun. I still have the one you gave me so I gotta’ get it back to you!
              2. Finally meeting Paul Fisher. He has an extra C-cell (or two) in his battery pack. This guy runs at 6500RPM. Super guy. Really glad to have met him.
              3. The rolling hills of West Virginia. What a ride….even in the mist/rain.
              4. Crossing into Kentucky for my first visit. It seemed like forever!
              5. The arrival (sorry for the run around in the parking lot)
              6. Those first 6 Guinness’. Man did we need them! And meeting the early arrivals.
              7. The Waffle House (avoid the waffles) but the eggs were great! Thanks to Gail
              8. The Banana Grill down the road. (we walked out on our Friday tab by sheer dumbness(drunkenness), they caught us when we went back on Saturday,( we knew it was coming) and a GREAT dinner on Saturday
              9. The Guinness on …………..Saturday after the dinner
              10. The fantastic job the Directors did putting this thing on! My hat is off to you fellows and I can’t wait until neat year. Mine will look different.
              11. This is for the women who put up with this in the first place. Thank You
              And Thank you to all

Yep, those hills are GREAT on the scoot, too! Hopefully I can eventually experience them in the SVO...

Not in any specific order ...

                  1. JayG taking 'mullet pics' at the Drag Races.
                  2. raggin Gator til his car runs to the tune of a 12.7 ET .. and yet it only goes 101mph?!?
                  3. Having a beer with Sweet William and his favorite Hooter's waitress.
                  4. Garbage can caster races.
                  5. Realizing that Gator and Don (pronounced Gate-r-dun) were seperated at birth. Theme from Smokey and Bandit in the background.
                  6. Pat from LA .. who knew one could not only function at a BAC of .300 grams, but one can even autox with a BAC of .130 as long as you have your Malboro 120. Insert 4ft length of drool.
                  7. Snell 80? Those were made from leather, right?
                  8. Watching Gator lose control ... do a complete spinout .. in the straight-a-way.
                  9. Watching Ryan leave skidmarks from the start of the straight-a-way to the end of it.
                  10. My Rich Alvino signature series BlueBlockers (in chrome) are worth at least a tenth or two.
                  11. I maintain balance to the universe. Everytime Rich Mora chromes a new part ... I paint one black.
                  12. Q. Did you enjoy the Reunion? A. I have nothing to compare it to, but I'll be back next year.

How much is it gonna cost me to send my 11 year old son to therapy to deprogram him from spending three days with Gator, Don Bishop, and another new favorite...."big money"JayG.

Seriously, thanks for letting Ryan hang out with you guys!

                      I had a blast!

Well, this Reunion is in the books for this year and I had a blast! The 36 hours of driving were worth it. I rolled out with Mutant, Joe T, Mr. Pink and myself and we made it as far as Hagerstown before Joe's motor started rapping. With my car out of comish with bad rear carrier bearings, Mr Pink was a real hero and he unloaded his rig to put Joe's car on the trailer. I guess it was six hours R/T out of his way to go to the Poconos to Joe's, but he gutted it out! You are the man!!!! Dana and I followed to Allenstown, PA and peeled off for home. Dana stopped in Morristown NJ, but I pushed through and made it home at 2:30AM this morning. The Reunion was a blast. Next year will be even better since my car will be sorted out beforehand. My top 10 in no particular order

                      1) Dumping 15 year old varnish gas in Mike's Chevrolet rental car (did someone get this on camera?)
                      2) Seeing Gator's car get copious amounts of rubber in 3 gears at the auto x (sorry about your I/C)
                      3) Seeing Tom L's car.. It was a class act
                      4) Seeing Pat and Chris after hard drinking, especially at the T-5 clinic (I love you man!..no, I love you!!!)
                      5) Meeting all the legendary SVOCA people in the flesh
                      6) Seeing JayG's pimp daddy get-up!
7)The sights and sounds of Kiwi's motor after the 20 shot at the dyno
8)The scenery on the trip down, despite a couple of trailer tires going south!
                      9) Winning an award for my 2R. Thanks all you guys!
                      10) All the help I got from GABoy, Pat, Dragpak, Rschonegg, Mike F, Kiwi, Mr. Pink, Dana, Rich, Joe P and countless others who got dirty swapping my fuel pump at the "clinic" You guys are the best!

This was the best event! Thanks for making it happen.

                      Paul

Had trouble keeping up with Rick and Richard on the way home...
They were in front of me one second, went over a hill, and as we crested it, I was like "Where'd they go???" Last I saw of them were a couple tiny red dots on the horizon... Glad I didn't come up on one of you broken down along the road.
Had a great time, and even got to drive an SVO afterall!!!
I had fun watching my 2 year old daughter socialize with you guys. Sorry she hogged the laptop screen watching the dash across Sweden, or whatever video... she loved it!
and her saying "uh oh.... funny" when seeing the smokey spin-outs in the autocross was priceless!
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

Paul - glad you made it back! I still think you should have stopped and gotten some sleep...but you're home safe & sound anyways! Hope you had decent weather after we split off.

Great to meet you and good luck with the car!!!

I dunno where to begin...( Quotes and Pics )

Well, I suppose I should first start off with the thank-yous...

                            - The Hubers...I would have never made the auto-X cross without ya. My fat fingers and pure laziness would have never gotton that line in, not to mention off without the "right tool."

                            - The SVOCA...once again a KILLER event.

                            - The CKRSCCA, once again you guys did a nice job and ran the event smooth !

                            - All who attended, it was good seeing some new faces, and even better seeing the familiar ones.

AND NOW, THE MOMENT YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR !!!

Gator's Top Quotes !!! ( Once again, if you werent there....ya just had to be. )

                            -- "Thats twice now...."

-- "She smelled good...like flowers and chicken." ( Bud )

-- "Gator !! Gator !! We're gonna get liquired up on bourbon and go and eat all of Colonel Sander's chickens....." ( Butter Bishop )

-- "I thought you said this was a 12 second car...now run a 12 or put the piece of sh*t on the trailer, I'm sick of watchin' this 13 second crap." ( Bud )

-- "Well, I think we are gonna unload and just work with what we have here...." ( The Basler )

-- "HUH !??! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE CAN RUN THE FULL QUARTER !?!??" ( Ty Burgin )

-- "Ya know...this dude talkin on the CD, the sun setting like it is...SVO's all around, just pretty neat is all." ( Bud )

-- "Check that out, the car just gained 5 horse-power" ( as the car is being pushed off course. ) ( Bud over the PA at the auto-cross )

-- "Stupid Gator got me in trouble with Bud." ( Butter Bishop )

-- "A loaf of bread, container of Milk....and a stick of butter" ( Bud )

-- "Got my Rich Alvino signature series Blu-Blockers" ( Perry )

-- "What are we gonna do about the body man !??! The Body in the trunk man!! What are we gonna do !?!?!?" ( i refuse incriminate the person that stated this. )
