  • Ideas for 2005?

I know we only have a few short days to do all our stuff, but I was hopeful that there was a way to stagger the events of Friday so people can do both. I was one of the lucky few who went to the dyno (learned a lot too and lost my hearing when JayG's shot heard round the world went off), but I was one of the unlucky ones who missed the drags (or thought I did)

I know the drags didn't start till later last year due to scheduling and weather snafus, but it would be so cool to have each staggered somewhat so attendees could do both. I'm planning on bringing my girlfriend's son and I'm sure he'd like to do everything available. He's into his 5.0 Capri, but I'd like to get him to adopt Project Bondo and get into the world of 2.3 build ups!

As a side note, he is 17 and a licensed driver. Can he run in the autox?? I now the SCCA has some rules on legal age up here and my local club only allows kids to run carts.

The schedules are staggered, dyno starts at 8-9 am, and drag starts at 5 pm

I'll probably have a dew wipe replacement class. That should take about 15 minutes (leaves more time for drinking) and I won't have to worry about how to dispense with hazardous waste like the 2004 fuel pump replacement drill. That should leave me plenty of time to help disrupt the cam timing class and work on perfecting my dismount of the access ramp at the back of the conference room.
