Otto -- you'd have to tell me a really good reason why you aren't bringing the SVO --

Pat -- I was talking about you specifically, but I never thought you'd catch on !!

            Eric,
NO excuse. Haven't put the CRES water pipes on yet and my ceiling is drooping. Just embarrassed.
I haven't done more this past year, lots of stuff came up that distracted me.
Thought the GT would be more fun.

Bring the GT. It might be something a few could make look real bad.
Time to clean up the engine bay!

P.S. I really should bring the track car (it is an SVO) but Bud's requirements for the "show" was it had to be 2.3 powered! (just too busy to put the Esslinger motor in by Oct.
What?!?! I don't recall ever saying that. It has to be a SVO to be entered - IOWs, it must have a "28T" in the VIN as far as I'm concerned. If you show up with a SVO and it doesn't have a 2.3T powering it ... then you can suffer the badmouthing from everyone else.

Your profile for participation is correct and (serving the club)!

Don't worry I will bring a "28T" (not correct on the registration page, but I figure someone edited it)!

Looking forward to the event, sorry to hear you can't come.
(Do you have time to fly in??)

Thought the GT would be more fun. [/B]
See, this is what Im talking about with opening up the auto-x to other cars. It seems this person wasnt even comimg to the reunion until he thought he could run his "GT" in the auto-x....WTF!!!. The focus is already turning away from the SVO as Im seeing others saying to bring the "GT". I still say SVO only. And if Its a money thing then why is the entry fee more than double of any auto-x Ive ever attended. That should make up for the lower attendance right? Please no one take this personal and I understand that not everyone can bring their SVO for some reason or another, but to not bring it because one thinks another car would be more fun really gets under my skin and is total BS! Im sure there are plenty of other cars more fun to some other people but this is an SVO REUNION PERIOD!!! Sorry guys but Im really not happy about this.

BTW Eric my registration is in the mail.

                            Now I really feel horrible.
I was actually kidding (forgot the ) I actually thought I was in another thread and I thought I had found a way to make it to the reunion.
And after I re-read my post (in this thread) it sure looks like I'm interested in auto-x ing my GT, which I agree is not appropriate at an SVO Reunion.
Please forget I ever posted that up there!
                            Sorry for this mix-up.
                            Now lets all have a

                            And Happy Birthday to NavySVO

                              Almost as bad

That's almost as bad as me putting my SRT-4 on the dyno.

PS: I should probably have read this thread in it's entirety before posting. I can be such a dumb-4ss sometimes.

Personally - I'd rather see it kept SVO Only also. And, money-wise ... we have the money, but it seems a little wasteful to host the event for a very select few.
