    Mutant
As for arriving on the 4th and wondering what to do on the 5th
The usual format (assuming this one follows the same pattern) has guys going to the dyno on the friday during the day and then followed by friday evening drag races
People have been arriving earlier over the years to make sure they dont miss a thing
Pat and others from far away have been arriving early to help others with thier projects and last minute details like head gasket swaps (svorob w/ mark haas and others)
If there is a Hooters nearby thursday evening food and refreshments at say 7 ish would be a good place to congregate (nice word for goof off and be ourcrazyselves or .......Gatoresque)
I am booking the week before off to finish any thing that needs it and say the earlier the better
    Rob

      It all depends:
      1) who needs help fixing things on their car.
      2) who needs help transporting a car.
      3) who knows where all the liquor stores are.

I'll likely be there Thursday through Monday. After all Mutant, once Mike tears your car apart we may need until Monday to screw it back together!

Kurt, funny that you mention being paid for.. It is ALL paid for already!! So moving the place of it is not an option.. I'll be missing this one but I'll be there in '08..

        Thanks for the support.. Dave

              Anyone vote for 5x?
I was actually dreaming of an improvement of 30+ rwhp
And I have a stock pile of head gaskits to do it with

Is the red car comming this year?

I’ll be there Thursday sometime. You all can show me how to change my oil.

You realize that the Reunion will be on your Anniversary every year. I think you should do it in Kentucky like SVOBud said. That way you have a built in excuse to attend all future reunions. How romantic is that, wow brings tears to my eyes.

As for me, it's my wife’s Birthday weekend. I'm screwed.

Then we'll need an air compressor and an impact wrench.

How about a breaker bar with a 10' piece of pipe for 'extra' leverage?

What kind of costs are involved.....and I agree with Mike, if I'm going to Kentucky, I think a Waffle House is a must!

I'd like to bring my 17 son along.....I mean what else would a kid that age want to do, but drive across the country in tight suspension car, without a radio!

hotel usually runs 70-90 a night, I'm still working the details out on that. cost of show is usually $20 for non members, and auto-x on sunday us usually $50.

Waffle house is right across the street from pure gold, someplace I'm sure gator will find.

I know parts of Iowa can be corn-fed country, but are you telling me your 17yo son doesn't own a MP3 player or one of those fancy-dancy MP3 cellular phones? If not - don't torture that kid by making him ride all that way listening to nothing but stories from his Father.

I had a radio delete 77 Nova with 19k miles given to me in 1994. I had to drive it from Central Illinois to Philadelphia. I made it to the Illinois/Indiana border before I broke down and bought a walkman CD player and some CDs.
