    Day 3, 863 miles.

eft texarkana, TX early tis morning with the plan of crossing Texas. Well, we did it. There is a lof of not much. It reminded me of the centre of Australia, flat and treeless. We stopped in Midand, TX to see Fifi, the only airworthy B-29 Superfortress in the world, only to find they closed at 5pm. We arrive at 4:58pm

Regardless, on we trecked till we arrived in Las Cruces tonight. Arizona tomorrow.

what day is it????? Flagstaff, AZ to Nephi, UT via the Grand Canyon and Utah highway 12. 619 miles.

got a reasonably early start today and headed up hwy 89 to the grand canyon. Stopped at the Navajo Bridge, missed the south rim and so we headed for the north rim.

AWESOME!!!! If you've never been, go!!! it is truly spectacular!! Also sourced Mike a new avatar pic involving a cute German tourist and a thong. More to come. we th en headed north and gased up in Kanab before hitting Hwy 12. for the race through Bryce National Park.

Boardmaster departed at this point for a midnight run back to Canada and I proceeded to drive the hardest 120 miles of my life!!! 3000ft to 9000ft and back again on a road that makes the Cali 101 look straight. It was AWESOME!! dad and i were talking about EGT's and so we pulled over and the E6 was a glowing. The brakes got a good workout on the way down as well. Next time i want to do it during daylight hours but if you ever want to see what your car is made of, this is the place.

                    On the road home tomorrow.

                        Sounds like a fantastic trip.

Thanks for hauling the louvers for Mike B. and me. We have a B-29 out here at Dobbins ARB but it is a static display only

I also dated a girl who went by Fifi ( Linda Faye ) for a while. She was a true southern belle.

                            FINALLY HOME

Well everyone, I've been driving all day and all night, and I am glad to say that I am home and my trip was AWESOME. I pulled off another 1000+ miles straight drive-trek in the SVO and the car ran great. I will do it again whenever and wherever my next trip takes me in it. MAN I LOVE THIS CAR.

Chalky and Ivan should make it home tonight. This was by far as ONE of the coolist things that I have done in my life. My total mileage for the trip was 9000 kms/5600 miles and say some very cool sights. Now to start planning NEXT YEAR'S trip with my 2 cars and bring some family along!!!!

I will get some pics up in the next few days, but first a shower and a nap.
I had a BLAST and will do it again and again and again. Jason
