Pat, that would be a reverse Cannonball, also known as a Rekab Cannonball.

Our silver hotrod SVO can beat your red car any day. So take that, Nahh!!!

(sorry Greg, hard for me to pass up a race type challenge, its an addiction, I'll check on the dates)

Just asked pops about the motorhome idea (borrow it-bring him along) and he's gonna think about it (probably yes with him as well). I'll let everyone know when he gives me his answer (fingers crossed). But like I said earlier, if no go on the rv, than plan b and trailer it out or drive it out. I'll update when I know for sure. That's ok Bob - everytime I try to get someone to race, they forget their car or something. Maybe we'll have better luck with you asking?!?

I'll race you in the motorhome. I would have an advantage since I could set the cruise control & head back to the kitchen to make myself a sandwhich. You'll need to stop to make your meals or buy them.

Your motorhome drives itself while you make a sandwich!! I thought that was a myth.

Mike: I hear that NASA has some training relevant to long distance driving.

Yes - a power one too - so if it rains, I won't have to stop to re-install the sunroof! It also has a catch basin for in-flight (cough, cough - I mean in-motion) refueling (and disposal).

It should take us less than 1 day at 100 MPH.

                          Horsewidower (Bob),

Looks like the drive out in my car isn't gonna happen. I'm looking into plane tickets though.

There will be room in the motor home I'm sure.

So what's preventing the drive Greg?

Is it car troubles or just time?

Well, I've got a couple of items that I need to address which requires pulling the motor. Nothing serious, but I need to make sure everything is in order for driving cross country.

I wouldn't want to leave Bob stranded somewhere.

If I get it done and have some time to "feel comfortable about the drive" - you never know. But for right now, it's off.

Where do I get on the motor home?
