Just asked pops about the motorhome idea (borrow it-bring him along) and he's gonna think about it (probably yes with him as well). I'll let everyone know when he gives me his answer (fingers crossed). But like I said earlier, if no go on the rv, than plan b and trailer it out or drive it out. I'll update when I know for sure. I'll race you in the motorhome. I would have an advantage since I could set the cruise control & head back to the kitchen to make myself a sandwhich. You'll need to stop to make your meals or buy them.
Greg - does your SVO have a sunroof? So much easier for the helicopter supply drops.
Yes - a power one too - so if it rains, I won't have to stop to re-install the sunroof! It also has a catch basin for in-flight (cough, cough - I mean in-motion) refueling (and disposal).
Well, I've got a couple of items that I need to address which requires pulling the motor. Nothing serious, but I need to make sure everything is in order for driving cross country.
I wouldn't want to leave Bob stranded somewhere.
If I get it done and have some time to "feel comfortable about the drive" - you never know. But for right now, it's off.
