  • Things overheard at Reunion 2009

    Memorable quotes, etc...
This thread is ussually one of the first I look at after it's over! Can't believe nobody started it yet!
I really don't have anything that stuck in my brain, but I'm sure some of you heard some funny stuff.
We were laughning at Bud and Gators usual antics and comments all weekend, and JayG showing up in the Evel Kinevel suit was definately a gut buster, but I'm sure there was more.
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

Standing at the rear of my car in the hotel parking lot ... watching Rich change the tires.

Gregory (Canada Rob's kid), "who won the race?"
    Rob, "Bud did"
    Gregory, "who's Bud?"
Rob, *pointing at me, "that's Bud .."
Gregory, "what car was he driving?"
Rob, *pointing at my car, "This one .."
Me, "looks fast dont it ?"
Gregory, *already kickin his Razor in motion .... "looks like crap!!"

The married guys who left the wives at home were out for a steak dinner rather than eating Pizza.

Here are the basic economics of the situation: If I go alone with the guys, it's about a $500 weekend. If I take the wife, it's a $2500 weekend.

How true Pat. Except the pizza ran out...we had to settle for steakburgers.

Shopping is another drain on the wallet too....We came how with a steering column, two steering wheels, 4 interior quarter panels, a transmission.....

                  Sheesh!
Odd, when I took my avitar picture I owned the black SVO...now I own the blue SVO.

                    I understand, Dave.

You can't eat car parts, but you can use them later!

Well, you can gnaw on them, but the nutritional value sucks.

Eric, I just about spit my lunch all over my keyboard!
My wife came with me... Having the show in that location cost me a lot of cash. She kept coming back "Honey, Look what I found!"
Only thing I bought was a few cups of chili and a hot chockolate!
If it ain't broke... Give me some time!

Heard on way to the Reunion:

                            "What's that ticking noise?"

"Those are awful nice seats to put a brown stain on them." (This to Pink after eating taco bell at Autocross halftime.)

"Well... He's been pissing on the motor for 10 plus years. It's about time."
