Theres power getting to the red with green tracer wire but its not making it to the ecc relay .We can power the ecc relay and feed everything tfi injectors ,sds so there a break between the switch and ecc relay somewhere ,We could use some good wiring diagrams from the ignition switch to the ecc relay .

do you mean there's power at the ign key?

looking at the (crappy) chiltons wiring diagram, shows no fusable link between the red/lt green and brn/pnk feeds from the ign key to the red/lt green to TFI, Ign Coil, and eec power relay. there is a lt grn/red feed going to what was the voltage regulator; that should be ran to the red/purple (which isnt on my wiring diagram..) already confirmed the blk/org (via fused link) power feed to the eec relay is good by powering the coil and the eec powers up.

lemme see if i can find my copies of the EVTM..

        Rick/Alex,
Check the member's only section for wiring diagrams. They have helped me.

I got yesterday the 84 EVTM and service manuals just need helping reading them, and figuring out where the splice is on the red with green stipe wire from ignition switch is do not see anything.Hopefully between Dragpack coming over and talking to Alex on the phone we can get it figured out.

Blue fuse link by brakes booster resistance wire that tied the start and run wire together.

No not running again yet had to pull intake and TB back off and modify throttle linkage.Had to cut off the cable post and re weld it back on,file the MC cap to clear intake better.Need to re inforce the bracket got some flex in it.Also did not get fuel lines hooked back up need to do that set timing and start driving it again. I hope everything is ok now and for awhile been doing more work to it over the past few years ready to start enjoying it.Should have it all done tonight maybe take it for a spin if everything goes well.
