  • feedback on SS lines

Hey guys, looking for some feedback on SS lines and where to get them. Goodrich and Earls have been the most common I've seen. Any others out there? Where is the place to get them?

Also, are there any options to get some standard lines and fittings/adapters for the SVO calipers? Then, if I change my brakes I can still use the lines and just get adapters for the Cobra calipers.

This for a road racecar so a brake failure is typicaly a very bad thing.

Your SVO is built into a roadracer? Got pics?

No, my 89 has full SVO brake system. I bought my 89 with a SVO brake/suspension/drivetrain. It came from a totaled 85 from a member here. Anyway, I swaped in a V8 to run in NASA's CMC (Camaro-Mustang Challenge series). I kept the SVO 7.5, T5, brakes, and Konis. Running H&R race springs, fully caged, fire system, etc.

Thanks Mike. I read about the differences an modifications that had to be done to the Earls stuff. I'm just wondering if the guys that installed them have any recommendations or what to stay away from. I'd like to get a kit that will be straight forward on the install and be a solid, reliable, and a good performer on the track.

just watch your routing... if they get into a tire, it makes for a bad track day...

            Yeah - I thought so.

Thread closed. This a SVO site. Not a Mustang that has SVO parts on it site. The Tech Area is even labeled SVOs Only.

Please do not ask tech related questions concerning your 89 Mustang here.
