doing springs next

So I read and read on here about some of the springs you guys use. I decided on the Motorsport B springs...progressive which is what I want. I have those on my GT and like them. they bite when they need to, but I don't lose any teeth when just driving around.

I decided this because now that the car is running exceptional I see that teh front springs are very bouncy. when I shift the entire front end comes up. My GT did thsi until I replaced the springs.

I already added poly spring dampers in the rear to take some sound and vibration away and it raised the rear about .25-.5 inch. The springs will bring it back down to stock. As for the front I have poly dampers as well that will go in and the springs are said to lower it .8 of an inch so with the dampers it will only go up a very small amount, but I gain some good handling.

anyone have any good/bad experience with the B springs? Out of all the ones I looked at they were the best price, were progressive, and they are Ford!

just an idea, but you might want to think about getting your shocks/struts replaced/rebuilt .... just sayin.

I'm not a B spring fan, but will agree ... they are very affordable.

yeah, the eibocks were twice as much for the same height and weight..the H&Rs were more than the eibocks.. $$$

The ride height and spring performance arent totally related.

i dont like the eibach pros either. the H&Rs are nice though.

well, I meant the spring rates and drop height per their specs.. the eibocks are the exact same weights and drop height as the B springs, but twice as much. The H&R's were the most popular, but out of my range.

I like the B springs on my grey car. I like the way the car looks, it seems to stay flat in the corners, and the mile drive on the hideous (bumpy) road to my house isn't too bad.

Performance wise, I'm not fit to judge, just see my sig.

The Eibach Pros are the same spring rate as a Motorsport B? That's hard to believe - those things ride hard like the C springs. The B's are actually pretty soft. You wont see much increase in performance over stock SVO spring, cept they aint 20+ yrs old.

I use the Eibach Sportlines (red spring). Cant recommend them for everyone. They really lower the car down, ride quality is actually pretty good, but when you lean on them, the stiffin up in a hurry.

Eibach doesnt list the Sportlines as an application for a SVO.

I have the Eibachs' on mine and they ride way low. Like Bud said, overall ride quality is pretty good, and they do bite fast when you push them. The only thing I can compare them too is a Lotus I once drove. Think your SVO versus a regular Fox body mustang and how much different your SVO handles. Thats how the Eibachs' feel in comparison to the SVO springs. The low ride is not really a negative. I have gone over some rather large speed bumps faster than I should have and have yet to bottom out.

I didnt say they dont fit. I said Eibach doesnt show the sportlines as a SVO application. I've put them on two different SVOs of mine ... they do exactly what I want them to do .. WORK.
