Rear end brake hose?

Is the rear brake hose that attaches from the rear end to the chassis the same as a GT,LX hose. I can't find any SVO listing for this hose. Thanks.

I am not sure where you are looking but Napa lists the specific hoses as well as Autozone. If you get stuck drop me a line. I have them as well but dont list on the site (AC DELCO brand).

Are you talking about the hose for dual exhaust? Thats a hard one (if not impossible)to find. They only made it from 85.5 to 86 for the SVO's ,and 1985 GT's which still used the 7.5" rear axle. I've made new ones by getting a hose for a 86-93 5.0, gently removing the hose from the 8.8" axle bracket and swedging it onto the original 7.5" axle bracket.

I believe the brake line for the later cars is the same as a GT with a 8.8--same mounting location, but the one for the earlier cars I thought was obsolete. However, I ordered a stainless steel braided kit from Summit (Earl's) and that kit had the proper line for that. Do a search on the subject to get the part #. Beware, Summit lists 3 different part #'s for that application.
