rear end covers

do they make aftermarket ones for our cars? ive seen one on a svo and it look cool it said svo in the middle of it and the color of it looked like it was bead blasted or something. does anyone know where they sell em at?

You talking about the rear end differential cover? I've seen ones for a 7.5 before. Try looking through a FMS catalog first .. they might still offer one. Otherwise, just do a google/yahoo search for "7.5 ford differential cover".

BTW - moved from engine tech to suspension.

nope. that looks like it is for an 8.8. I can't understand why they said "All Year Ford Axle Girdle". it sure wont work on my '67 with a 9 inch!!

I would call Becker--I bought one for my 8.8 but I recall him saying something about he either had one for the 7.5 or could get them

the one that says svo is from when the parts catalog was svo. thtas why when you do searches for svo's: engines like 460's and 351's come up. now i think they are frpp. but that would be cool if they had the old "svo" stamped girdles still on the shelf>>>>>>maybe even for a discount! thatd be awesome.

There was a guy looking for one a while back and it just happened that TA who makes the covers for Ford had one left that was a blemish or something. The 7.5 covers with SVO on them are hard to find.
