worn strut and bad onion head

pardon if i`m repeating something that`s been posted before, don`t have time to search all options.
*** what r my options? i know i can replace the koni strut cartridge with a cheaper non adjustable version. but what about a worn out onion head? does replacement strut mounts take care of this prob or what, i know kyb makes replacement strut mounts.

Onion Head Part number D8BZ-18A161-B

I thought that they were still available through the dealer or the motorsports catalog. They fit 79-86 4 cylinder mustangs and a few other applications I believe.

Racer Walsh has new ones listed for $55.

just found that svp has onion heads new and cheaper than racer walsh. ck with paul at svpu, or SVOPAUL here.
