  • Strange Tire wear pattern

I just noticed that the front tires are showing a fair amount of wear at the very outside edge, about 1" inward (if that make sense). Tire pressure is ok and the rear tires are wearing evenly. They only have about 1000 miles on them.

    What could be the cause?

The steering axle sees geometry changes and "scrub" from steering duties that the drive axle doesn't see. Rotate your tires front to rear and kick the front camber adjustment inboard by one rivet hole on each side. Reset the toe-in and monitor the tire wear over the same amount of mileage.

Thanks Pat. That sounds like a plan.
