I believe that MM don't sell a 3/4 control-arm that has a spring pearch in it -- but I'll let Jason give the definitive answer.

You must have read my post before I edited it to acknowledge the coil over requirement to make things work, haha!

I should have mentioned it in the first post but the rear is from a 94 GT with the 5 lug disc and a 355 gear. I used the SVO Konis, the blue Eibachs, and a 94 Cobra rear bar. The rear does move around alittle... EDIT : Here is a better pic of the rear. The 16" wheel does appear lost in the wheel well / small when compared to the 17" with the 93 Cobra body kit. The original 90 LX 8.8 308 4 lug drum now lives under my 85 GT vert. Both were fairly easy swaps. I still don't have the newer 94 style E-brake cables mated to the 90 style handle / cables.

You are correct. Maximum Motorsports does not offer a tubular front control arm with a spring perch.

If I wanted to retain the stock SVO spindles, can the Tubular Front Control Arms for a 1994+ Mustang with ¾" offset (MMFCA-10) be ordered with the correct ball joint for an SVO? I already have the CC plates and realize that this rould require swapping to coil overs.
Good question! Maximum Motorsports designed a Ball Joint Taper Adapter (part# MMFCAB-10). This nifty little piece will allow you to use the original SVO spindles and brakes with the modern "low friction" ball joint that comes pre-installed in the Maximum Motorsports Tubular Front Control Arms. This is the same ball joint that was used in the 1996+ Cobra. Ford claims they noticed "no measurable wear... after 250,000 miles"!

Ok so can I run the MM Bilstein HD shocks on my SVO spindles?

It looks like they are installed in the pictures of the SVO suspension upgrade page on motion dynamics website: http://motion-dynamics.net/specials.html

Has anyone installed non-SVO struts on an SVO spindle, what issues did you have?

                      Thanks,

                      Mike

This is a lot of information to take in..

So you can't you use the stock SVO control arm assembly with sn95 spindles?

Based off this thread, I cannot do a 13" brake upgrade and keep the correct wheel location without buying certain MM parts?

I did some more research and found out that the two mounting holes in the SVO strut are offset about an 0.075" from each other (one is 0.075" closer to the strut than the other). I guess I could mill or file one of the holes on each billstein strut to make them fit.

If you're taking about putting SN95 Cobra brakes on your SVO strut, the answer is no since the SVO strut hits the SN95 spindle. (As I understand it).

However you can run the SN95 Cobra spindle, non-SVO strut with a coilover kit, Cobra brakes, and the MM 95 & newer 3/4" offset tubular lower control arm. But you need to check if your wheel size/width/offset will fit. I tried sticking my SVO wheel on the front of my 96 Cobra and the Cobra caliper hit the SVO wheel, I didn't bother checking to see if it hit anything else.

Do a search on the corner carvers forum: http://forums.corner-carvers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7

Edit: I tried my SVO koni's on a 94 SN95 spindle and the shock fits. Except the bottom of the shock hits the lower control arm. Also the MM arms and Sn95 spindles have the same or slightly smaller track width.
