  • Motor Mount - Potentially Stupid Question

I will admit, I've never seen a bad motor mount. Upon inspecting them (since somethign is kicking my floorboard), it looks like the left one maybe bad. How are they suppose to look installed? It looks like it may be tore, and stretched out. Can anyone give me their two cents?

in that 2nd pic (hard to tell, blury) it looks like the motor mount is actually touching the k-member (in a place it shouldn't be)

With the hood up the emergency brake on let out on the clutch and watch how far the engine moves.

          It should not move much.

Look at the transmission mount as well.

Put a jack under the engine and gently jack up on it and watch the mounts as you do to see if they separate at any point
