  • EGR Green tube. (1984)

What should I do with the EGR "green tube" that would connect to the EGR in stock configuration? The engine currently is missing the EGR and thus there’s an open tube currently. There is one supply that comes from the vacuum tree that then splits into the Over boost and EGR controller. I'm thinking I should just cap the EGR Controller’s “Ins and Outs”. Sound good?

I just don't want a vacuum leak anywhere. I've already capped a few other vacuum sources ready.

    Ideas?
Not sure how the EGR controller works exactly. Can I just unplug the signal wires? Sounds good to me? Yes?

Sorry. I'm just new to stock type engines. And new to the '84's.

Yep, just unplug the lot and cap off the vacuum source from the tree.
