posting this for another SVO buddy.. 86 to be exact. he goes through caps and rotors after 2-3 tanks. he is using motorcraft stuff.. I didn't find any related posts on going through them this quickly.. any thoughts why his car would eat them up after a few tanks??
I can't think of anything unless the housing is lose and causing the teeth/posts to where prematurely or something??
anyways, after a few tanks he starts to get a miss at 1800rpm's, changes the cap/rotor and surprise it's perfect again.
I don't know if he has the stock TFI...I'll ask..
