  • Seal Power vs-1459 the right valve springs?

Got the springs in today and they are different from the ones I pulled off the head. The vs-1459 springs are taller, smaller coil size, and have a smaller inner diameter to where you have to snap them onto the head?

The springs I pulled are shorter just sit on top of the the head. Are the Seal Power springs way off or has someone installed mega springs on this head?

    vs-1459 coil diameter = .169 (on right)
The ones I pulled off are - .190 (on left)

    See attached pic.

I measured my install height to be 1.65". I measured from the top of the retainer to the base on the front side of the spring. According to my FSM that is out of spec. Spec is 1 17/32 - 1 19/23".

I have no idea on coil bind since I don't have the cam installed yet.

Do I need to be worried about the extra .06 in the height?
