Help ID'ing Camshaft

The car I just purchased has a Cam of unknown origin to me
the markings on the back are E53228
Any ideas??

could E5 be ES ? as in Esslinger ?
Altho I don't think they have any cams that start with a 3 ?

Hey that's my cam! Id remember that number anywhere. I was wondering wher that got to. I had a head and a SVO attached to it. Thanks for finding them for me. I can get it back from ya at the next reunion.

SVO Rob has the block with the bored out cams.

I DO have a lathe here and can bore this thing to within 0.001 of its life

You guys realize our cams are bored with a plug in one end and the cam bolt in the other.
So.. I think we all have a bored out cam.
