Yeah, I forgot to mention that, but also forgot that you don't need to pull that bolt when you do a head gasket. I seem to remember replacing the cam pulley at the time I did the head gasket, but that's been years ago. I'm working on what to do about the oil return line right now, it has been talked about and I have looked at those threads but am I going to be dissapointed in the one from Stinger or Max psi or are they quality units that just require a little patience and beer to install?

Is it a braided or hard line? I purchased a braided oil line from Pat and while they are a little tough to fit around the motor it works fiine. Regardless, it always takes some time to get the motor side threaded due to the tight location and angle of everything.86 SVO 1E, not stock. MM&FF May 2010

I think Ron was taking about the oil feed line from Pat_in_L.A. (also avaialbe on forced4). Yes, my mistake. I thought you were referring to the feed line. I have no experience with any return lines other then stock. Not sure what other problems you're having but why not just use the stock return line?
That being said, the return line bolts are a PITA to thread into the turbo when everything is installed in the car.86 SVO 1E, not stock. MM&FF May 2010

I am going to attempt to fabricate my own by tig welding a -12 male nipple onto the flange after cutting off the old line off of it, then use a 45deg fitting for the block, npt for the block and -12 for the line, and make it up from there with braided line. I think it can be done gosh darnit.
