I'm assembling the motor and the oil return line angles are causing the line to kink. Does this look like it is right or have I missed something in the assembly? The stock return looks like it can flow a lot more oil so I'm concerned about the flow from this kit and considering going with the stock return. Any suggestions??

did you get that from stinger? if so, call em up and see if you can can exchange for the larger flex line size. if not, get a stock crinkle line, or acquire a different line, that one will do nothing but blow oil outta the CHRA.redneck engineered 84 2a, stock 84 1D.

I don't remember but I think it was Stinger. The first place I bought it online refunded the paypal payment and sent the stinger link. Have you seen a larger kit? This one had all the fittings but with it installed it is a fight to get them on straight. That is as close as I could get to a straight shot and as you can tell it still kinks slightly. As it is the bend will restrict flow but I wasn't sure if it would be to restrictive. The fittings and line are about half the size of the stock return line. Thanks for the help.

Don't use that one. It will not drain with that kink. Tried that one myself. Still own it as a paperweight. I am still not convienced it would drain if it was straight. The diameter of the tube/hose is too small. It is much easier to switch it out now with the motor out of the car, I was not so fortunate. Do your self a favor and find a stock return line. Thanks, and yes it is. I think it makes assembly easier holding the gaskets in place. I don't think anything will hold up the the temperatures that the turbo will produce. That is specific to exhaust gaskets and won't hurt the sensors as it burns off.
