  • Finally a reproduction fuel sending unit for our cars

I just figured I would let you guys know that a reproduction fuel sending unit for our cars has been made. I have bought one and it checks out to be the correct one. I tested the movement with a meter and the float and the sender operate as it should. Here is a link to the unit on their website. https://www.foxresto.com/products/vi...l_Sending_Unit
Maybe they will eventually start making more of the items that are specific to our cars one day but for now it is a start.

Thanks for the info, Chad! The price is right, too. I might have to grab a copy, just in case. I still have to drop my fuel tank to replace the pump that seems to have given up. Might as well have one of these on hand, just in case. Sending units I've pulled out of other cars have been frightening.

Yeah, a couple years ago I told them I had a used one in good shape for them to use for development, and they never got back to me. Had it boxed up and all...
