knock sensor

Anybody know where to find a knock sensor for a 84'. Seems nobody carries them!

I found one place, Ebay for $$, but also found some additional information that may be helpful. If you do a Google search on the OEM p/n (E3ZZ-12A699-A) you will find quite a few links. I found only one link that showed a price, list was $44 and price was listed as $34, so you will find the Ebay price of $99 a bit much, but they have 4 in stock per the listing.

I also found a cross reference listing for some aftermarket sensors:

- Original Engine Management = KS2
- MasterPro = 2-KS2
- Forecast = KS2
- AutoZone = SU257
- Wells = SU257
- Car Quest = 71-6568

It looks like the sensor was used on quite a few other Ford applications such as the 2.3L, 2.9L, 3.0L & 4.0L engines of the Ranger series, so a salvage yard may even be an option. Good luck.
