  • Fuel rail?

    Hey guys,
My buddy has built his car, but the fuel rail sprung a leak, replaced with another factory rail and it did the same thing. Anybody know of a good aftermarket one?

Sorry, no leads on an aftermarket rail off the top of my head. Have you figured why the rails have sprung a leak? There may be something else going on that should be addressed, just a thought.

so there is a aftermarket rail out there, I'm not fond of the name, but look for a turbo joe fuel rail, it's a solid aluminum piece, with an8 fuel fittings.

I will be honest and say, I've never seen a stock fuel rail 'spring a leak'. Would like to see pics of that.
not saying it can't happen, cause these things are getting older by the day

My initial thoughts are a bad o-ring on one of the fuel lines or faulty clips. Another though was a bad o-ring on the fuel pressure regulator and last thought was maybe the mounting screws were not used or loose and vibrations cracked a brazed joint. There seems to be something going on with that setup that an aftermarket rail may just simply mask, which could end up causing potentially dangerous results. I could be completely off base, but would err on the side of caution when dealing with fuel related issues.
