  • Dual piston bov vs recirculating valve

Anyone ever used a dual piston blow off valve instead of a recirculating valve? I know that the the reason for the recirculating valve is to keep the exact amount of air that the vam has metered the same but from reading some of the descriptions on the dual piston it seems as though they might work as well. Any comments?

I have had dual piston BOV in my Tbird almost ten years. No problems at all, no check engine light or any other signals that something would go wrong with engine management or running. Only negative thing is noise, loud "swooosh" sound. While I was younger it felt cool, nowadays more annoying...

Look into the gofastbits t9301 bypass valve. I have one and it works great. Its a piston style.

I ended up purchasing a very similar valve from Turbo Smart. I haven't installed it yet though.
          Thanks for the information Schoolboy
