Valve Spring Replacement

Morning:

Looking for a recommendation for a valve spring compression tool. I have the head off of my '86 mustang svo and want to replace the valve springs and seals. Any suggestions on a tool that's currently available on the market?

If the head is off any valve spring compressor will work. After you take the followers out of course. If its a slider cam (stock) then you have to mark the followers for position so they go back with the correct intake and exhaust valves they came off of. Don't mix them up. You can get one for loan at many parts stores.

I made this out of some small flatbar that I had.
It hooks under the camshaft and presses down on the top of the valve sping. It worked ok for me.

yep, with the head off, the big c-type are easiest.

Performing one of the slowest restorations on record. Need to "pick it up" a bit. Looking to replace the valve springs and seals while I have the head off. Does anyone by chance know if "E4ZZ-6513-A" is the Ford part # for the springs for the 86 2.3L 140CI turbo? Thanks
