Engine temp

What is the normal engine temp before fan kicks on. Mine kicks in at 214 degrees which is 3/4 up the temp gauge

That's pretty close to normal. the fan kick can vary a lot (gauges, temp sensors, etc) between cars.. but 212 seems to come to mind as the temp the manual says it should kick

The EVTM shows our fan temp switch at 226 deg F for its trigger point. If I don't use my manual fan switch it won't kick on till my dash gauge gets past "L" on NORMAL and kicks back off at "O" for reference. Steady state cruise usually holds in the N to O range, while a track day session runs in the M to A range.
