I'm just about to finish up the new engine installation. However, I need a part number to make sure and get the right part..... does anyone know the # for the elbow tubes that connect the water lines to the core and to the oil cooler? I am not near the car right now to get one of the old ones as a sample. The Einsteins at the parts store only show straight connections.
If im not mistaken, those pups are obsolete from ford.
May i suggest that you take the outside dia of the tubes ( or better yet, ) bring the tubes with you to the parts store and ask them if you can look at their heater-core hose selection and patch up from "connections."

They have the entire set of hoses for like 90 bucks. Or you can go to the local pepboys and play peice together. I know I found a few that are exact fit there.
I had a feeling that was going to be the case..... Mr. Knucklehead, the extract/replace technician (pulled the engine and is putting it back in) cut the hoses when he took the engine out. Looks like I'll be playing the old piece it together game now
