Is there another model year alternator or one from a different model ford that has more output than my 65amp in my 86 svo?

although there are ways to upgrade the alternator with more output, there is also a problem with the original wiring and the amps it can handle. I am currently working on putting together a bolt on kit utilizing modern electronics to upgrade the SVO system...the idea behind this kit is no or minimal work for an easy upgrade....details coming soon....

actually that is who I am working with on this....the upgrade has been done to SVOs before but there are no pictures or details regarding the swap. I am currently prototyping another kit with them for the Lincolns and will do an article on the SVO upgrade next....

Ok, without sounding dumb, who makes a 3G alternator? Is that a Ford part number? Please leave the part number and price... Thanks much!
