yes I'm wondering if I would have to get a better fuel pump if I just put the psi to about 18-20? or would I be fine with the stock one? and also what size is the stock fuel pump? (lph)

ummm --- I assume you mean boost is up to 18-20
the stock fuel pump is (i believe) a 88 lph pump
when starting upgrades, a fuel pump is about the first place to start --
and remember -- the high fuel pressure 255 lph walbro pump is worth every penny!!
I've seen it make 20 hp difference on the dyno, when 2 cars were setup almost identically..Eric C

well right now there is someone by me selling a 190lph for $60. would that be a good deal? he wants to get something bigger. so it works because it was in his car.Last edited by StangerJon; 12-09-2003, 01:16 AM.85.5 svo 1C

Mods seem to be addictive --
and for $10 extra, I call it insurance. (it's worth that to keep from having to drop the tank again)
The high pressure pump is better for turbo apps because it does a much better job of keeping up with the boost (the 1 psi fuel per 1 psi of boost rule)
I also use the 255 instead of the 190 --
My thinking on this was--
in 10 years, when my 255 is old and worn, it will still be putting out 190!!Eric C
