I in the recient past bolted a set of David Godfrey's ported intakes on my car along with a few other things.
The upper intake was the short style so I used a T-C throttle body to gain the needed clearance over my stock cam cover.
Today while chasing an oil leak I installed a nonported tall upper and the stock throttle body.
Performance is way down compaired to before.
What do you think? Intake make that much difference?
Now while you are here I finally found the oil leak I have been hunting for.I think.
It apears to be the dipstick tube, the tube is tight in the engine, but it does look as tho that is where the oil is coming from.
Is there an oring seal on the tube?Is the tube pressed into the block?
I plain to fix this over the holidays and would like to do what it takes to do it right. Input please.
Thanks,
Don
