wire color
Red wire white stripe (single connector). The other wire is a single yellowish brown (cant see the actual color due to the crud on it) coming from the same loom as the water temp sensor.Confucius says" a closed mouth gathers no foot"

Re: wire qustion Easy
The tan wire with the red stripe goes to the oil pressure sender at the back of the head on the driver side.Originally posted by NY eric

If i remember correctly, the rubber end ( or boot ) to the wires wont fit on eachother....so if you go to put it on the oil sending unit and it wont go on or falls off easily....it doesnt go there.
