  • removing BCM/BCS after gillis install

I just got my new gillis valve (and LA3) installed and have a quick question (or 2) about disconnecting the old BCM/BCS. With the LA3, leaving the BCS disconnected will give an error code, but I can't simply leave the BCS connected to the computer b/c I have the older BCM/BCS combo.

I read on the boostvalve.com site that I can run a 180ohm resistor "across the BCS pins" to fool the ECM and avoid the error. Which pins are they talking about exactly? And is it worth it? should I just leave the wires disconnected and not worry about it??? I plan on completely pulling the BCM/BCS out of the car.

It does give the code, but I know the reason, as I just did my LA swap and yanked those items a few day's ago.

Since I know why it gives the code, I personally just don't worry about it.
