  • The ultimate 2.3 roller camshaft

At least thats what they said.

I have looked hard for the next cam to go in the svo.

Daily driver, autocross, Long road trips in the fall.

I know the cam story has been going on forever and a day.
    No dead horses here.
So not trying to out do any other cam.

I had hope to find someone that has used or knows about this company.

Lets say I know nothing about cams and just fell off the truck.

It was some good reading and open the eye to what I was looking for.

That is the cam I plan to use in my new motor. I like the lobe separation and the extended duration of the exhaust. The lift figures are nice and that they are not too high and will maintain some low end power for off the line acceleration.

I found a few on turboford but no real sound advise.
I am taking the head off in a few weeks to check out the valve in 4 , it may not be happy after the foller fell off last week.

I called them a month ago. They no longer have any and don't plan on making any more.

As long as we have the specs, it can be made.

Thats a shame too, i really liked the specs on that puppy myself. A hellova lot better than the roundy-round circle tracker A237 that i got

                Boo!

I was really excited after reading the discription about it too.

Back to the drawing board again...

                    I got mine.

When I called they had 7 left.
Now they got 6 and one in the mail.
Hope to run it sometime in Dec. By then the car will have everything fresh and ready to test.

HA !! Well, now that I seen you have bought one ( nice work BTW ) I guess im a bit late in answering this one.

Basically if we had the cam-card with all the specs, we could contact alot of cam manufacturers out there that do specialty cams ( Lazer cams and Cam Motion are a couple that come to mind off the top )

When I called them a couple months ago the jackass that answered the phone said they didn't have anymore. I did see some posts on Turboford though where people complained of premature wear.

I ordered one yesterday as well. They said 5 left.

Concerned about the premature wear issue - but can't find anything on it.

I'll put new bearings in the cam towers, and running rollers - wonder what wears?

I was reading something yesterday about premature cam wear in general, and they said it has something to do w/ the lack of zinc in our oil. They said that when first breaking in the cam that it you should add an oil addative that has zinc in it. They listed off a few products but I don't remember what they were off the top of my head.

I don't know if this is true at all, just what I was reading yesterday. I'll try and find a link to the info later.
