oil pump gasket?

Hey, was putting the oil pump back in and the manual says there is supposed to be gasket that goes between the oil pump and the block, but I can't find one. I got one of those full gasket sets, but there isn't one in the box. I did replace the gasket that between the pump and pick up already. I noticed there there wasn't gasket residue on the pump so I am going to *assume* that there wasn't one and isn't so supposed be one, but I want to ask the pros.

doing the oil pump on mine and had the same question...guess there's no gasket for the pump/block :p

um, the guys at my advance store are idiots and cant get the pump/pickup gasket out of sheer stupidity. Can I use RTV for this connection?

I would not use RTV. Get a pair of scissors and some gasket material and cut one out.

yeah, I've got gasket material and I know how to cut gaskets...just wanted to be lazy. figured you'd tell me that anyway haha.
