  • Valve seals-off point for SVO

OK, anyone have a preference on valve seals on a 5.0 V8. The stock FoMoCo seals are positive stop, but most rebuild kits seem to use the umbrella types. I think the positive stop are probably better when using standard springs, which we are. Like to hear thoughts.

I'm helping my girlfriend's son wrap up his 5.0 Fox project and hoping after that he'll tackle the Project Bondo 84 9W!

I would use the postive seals my self . The umbrella units seem to get hard and brittle with time .Perfect circle seems to make good postive seals all my cars have them.
