    I did give you help

I just callem like I see em- -- if you don't like what I said, maybe you need to rethink your objectives --

that's part of the deal when you sign up on this forum -- if you don't want to hear my opninion -- don't come here.

you didn't even know what a blow-off valve was before this thread, you were just installing it for the cool sound

StangerJohn -- you may want to consider some reading classes -- obviously you didn't read what I typed.

as I said before-- If you're installing it to hear the sound, and you bought the loudest one they had --YOU ARE A RICER, if the shoe fits- -wear it, and quit whining about it

BOV's? Wastegates? who needs em'? I know this is crazy and could mean some serious engine problems but... I get a full 18 lbs and no surge between shifts. I guess I've just been driving it long enough that I know when and how to shift. I don't need no stinkin' valves! No opinion, just the facts... Free rides! Edit : those 2 hoses resting on top of the loop go to my non-functional boost control solenoid. I also run 104 black octane boost most of the time.

I knew what a BOV was, I just wanted to know how people installed them on our particular cars. I guess all you administrators do is stay on this forum all day complain. If you want my opinion on that, it seems like a waste of life to me.

oh yea-- my Dad can beat up your Dad ..

I'd ban you, but I'm just rivited to my seat to see the next come-back... I used to do this too -- WHEN I WAS 7.

I knew what a BOV was, I just wanted to know how people installed them on our particular cars
then why didn't you SEARCH -- this has been brought up 50 times at least... you ASKED for help -- so which is it now, you needed help, or you wanted to see how many people used them ...
          lets get the story straight...

Ban me for what? Your allowed to call me a ricer and make smart remarks about what I am doing to my car. Then when you can't take the heat you just ban someone. Whatever, just cancel my thread then. I am not trying to start any trouble here. I am sorry if I upsetted you in some weird way, but I guess some people get offended easily. I am a member of many other forums and I have never had someone get this upset over something as little as a BOV question.

Geeze, you need to read first. Then you will understand that Bud is a dick and it's starting to wear off onto Eric. (j/k, not really, yes really, no....)

but is it ricer to have a peice that serves a function on the car? not really no. that is why I got my BOV, and I decided that if I was going to get one, why not make it loud. because nobody likes using the loud ones, so I wanted to have something a little different from anybody else. most people here think that something has to be done a certain way, so everybodies car is almost exactly the same. I mean, there is a list of the order of mods that you should do. where's the originality in that?

and what did I miss? you stated that BOV's dont work, and you should just put speakers and a button to make noises because thats all BOV's do. am I still missing the point in that post?

ahhh -- there is your problem --

you see -- I'm sitting here laughing my rear off, and you are upset, and think I am too --

You have earned the ricer title yourself -- It is you that decided to resort to personal attacks (just as I would expect a kid to do)

I never said being a ricer was a bad thing --
you need to accept the fact that people that install parts on their cars to make 'cool' sounds, lights, or looks, and don't care about the functional value of that part. ARE RICERS!
For example -- the ricer that installed a front-mount intercooler with a plexiglass cover over the front of it.

Go install a hybrid turbo, a front mount intercooler, or somthing usefull because you want the car to perform (not look or sound cool) and you might change my mind.

again Jon -- you really need a reading comprehension class..

it's about the 3rd time I've said it, but maybe you'll catch on this time..

                    THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU--
see -- if you installed the part because you wanted something functional, and it works, --that's different.

are you catching on now Jon ?

sorry for not modding my car to your liking. maybe I'll go part the sucker out since it obviosly is not worth paying attention to.

can you not explain how a BOV doesnt vent the pressure. seriously I would like to know why you are making a big deal about this.

ok -- I'm going to do something I don't normally do here -- I'm going to yell

BECAUSE I NEVER SAID A BOV DOES NOT WORK!!!!
I SAID INSTALLING IT BECAUSE IT MAKES COOL SOUNDS MAKES YOU A RICER

I also said that a BYPASS is a MUCH better choice.

If I did say a BOV doesn't work, please point me to it Jon.

did I ever say that the only reason I installed a BOV was to have cool sounds? no. I knew what the purpose of it was, and picked out the one that I wanted.
