Found it. I was look near the air vane. Expect more stupid questions. I just purchased a 1E with 76,000 and has been setting for 3 years. Not used to working on my own vehicles (if you couldn't tell) but thought what a better car to pop my cherry. I have actually wanted a SVO since 87 when a buddy had one. Also bought one while I was in Cali in the early 90"s. Finally talked the wife into letting me get one.If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

Re: Thanks
Please do not take this as a nit pick. If you start calling the throttle body a air vane peole will start to assume you are talking ablut the VAM(vain air meter) located under your air filter.Originally posted by skippydh

But honestly welcome and I would recommend 2 things in the near future 1- Haynes shop manual or ford set. 2-a code reader. These tools as well as this club will be your best friends.Confucius says" a closed mouth gathers no foot"
