3 Core Radiator Brackets

Ok, I got a 3 core radiator as a customer return that was damaged by UPS, only cosmetically though. Since the radiator in the 2R is junk (leaking and corroded and the cost of recoring so high around here, I figured I's try to adapt the 3 row. After searching here, I saw a lot of posts regarding the fact that a FMIC won't fit well, but none on the fit issue of two top brackets that obviously need modification to clear the wider radiator. Before I fab up new ones or try to lenghten the old ones, does anyone make such a bracket commercially. I know the brackets for the 4-cyl have a provision for the electric cooling fan shroud mounting that I'd like to keep. Also, what about the rubber isolators? Anyone make em' for a wider radiator?

my 3 core motorsport radiators fit fine after I trimed up the rubber inserts.

3 core radiator brackets

Look in Late model resto and see what they have. I just got their new catalog in the mail and have drooled over most of the pages. I was surprised at the amount of SVO specific parts they have available. I seen 3 row rad mount brackets listed in there but I dont know if they would work for us or not.

79-93 Radiator brackets should work for a 2, 3, or even a 4 row radiator as long as it retains the stock dimensions and end tanks. The brackets fit over the end tanks.

The brackets LMR has should work just fine.

Me too. I have a 3 row Motorsport radiator (M-8005-C03) in my car and it fit fine. I went to the junk yard and got a set of mounts for a V8 since I was not using the stock fan, trimmed the rubber inserts and it fit fine. On the lower mounts I had to widen the brakets with a few soft hits with a hammer, but no trimming of the rubber inserts was needed on the bottom.
