i had to swap pins for my LA3, and the only schematic i could find (that of course didnt work in the end) was for the LA3. so, i noted that pin 31 on LA3 was pin 32 on the FE/PE.

Boost Control Solinoid wiring

This keeps getting better! I hooked it up today and nothing smoked! I took it for a spin and the boost level stayed the same in both fuel positions. I thought I had the hoses hooked up wrong.. I ran it hard a few times to check the boost level. From 3K to 6 K it didn't hit the wall and pull back. It's drivability has improved 100%. I'm lucky I hadn't blow the engine before this, well I did fry the piston in the one in the basement. I thought that when you put the fuel switch into the premium position you engaged the ECA for MAX power! If you don't have your BCS or your BCM installed the ECA is always going to be in the regular mode. When you have the switch in regular gas the circuit is open to pin# 32 on the ECA. Pin 32 is the boost input. In the premium position you're going thru a resister, dropping the voltage and closing the curcuit to pin 32 from VPWR pin # 37. That referance voltage tells the computer to set up the parameters for MAX power! There are only 2 wires #32 and # 57 with the BCS or the BCM being the switch to complete the curcuit telling the computer MAX Power! I'll swap the hoses around tommrow! But for now life is good, good good. Rick85 SVO "Christine" ; CBR954RR CB350 85 VF1000R XR400R CZ 250 Enduro 66 Suzuki X-6 "Hustler"
