How to tell what cam it is?

I just picked up this motor that the guy called a "race motor" and it needs new pistons but the head is good. I am trying to figure out what cam is in this motor? Any way to tell by the numbers stamped on it?

Post what markings are on the cam. maybe someone will recognize it. Measure the base circle diameter and the lobe lift and report that as well.

Or ask the guy you got the motor from.

The only markings that I see on the cam are G30. I'll try to shoot a pic tonight as well as measure.

I asked the guy when I got the motor and he couldn't remember.
